I need this but typical handle will not work as this latches to the door frame itself which is approximately 3/8 - 7/16

Need to replace storm door handle. Two photos are in closed. 30 to 40-year-old door. Unable to find any markings on the handle.Bill

The handle won't latch without using the lock. It is loose on the inside. I believe I need a new spindle and handle assembly. The outside handle seems fine. What all do I need to replace this handle.

The interior door handle will not release the portion of the hardware that protrudes then catches the door frame receiver. When pushing the handle on the inside and thumb push on the outside, nothing happens...the "protruder" does not move. I will assume a spring type device located within the in ... (cont.)

Would you have a replacement handle for a Hess metal storm door? The exterior handle is 6 1/4 inches long. The interior side is 2 inches long, with a 3 inch wide handle. Sorry I could not rotate the pictures. Thank you. Linda

This is a brown door handle on a Winstrom Screen Door that needs to be replaced. Not sure if both sides need to be replaced or just the one in the picture (inside).

This inside door latch is white in color, has a 1-3/4" spacing between screws has a locking mechanism and takes a flat bar spindle to the outside key cylinder. The door code is 04289994844 is the inside latch on the site #40-117 the same?? In looking at the pix they looked pretty close the outside has a shaft that now fits the inside. Thanks Don

I need a replacement latch like 40-117, but need to know the opening size where the spindle fits into. I need 0.25 inch.

This door used to lock and then one day I notice it stopped locking. When I lock it and I pull the handle to open the door it will unlock the lock. Swisco- Spoke with customer care . Took picture of handle to inside storm door. The handle is made by Wright. The handle will not hold unless the lock is on. There are 3 parts to this latch. 0250-1/0250-2/0250-3. Don't know which one is bad, but would like the whole assembly.

I have a 40-033 handle with a 40-117 inside latch. If you push in the door button it will get stuck and not pop back out. Any ideas? Spindle too short? Thanks for your help.

I have three sears storm doors. Two are model #65623650271. The third one is model #65623660271. All latches appear to be like the one in the photos sent. The latch has a patent #3955839 stamped on it. I need three (3) interior latches with the screws. Thanks, Steve
