What is the measurement from the line of the two mounting screws to the end of where the latch mechanism sticks out?

I have a original aluminum white storm door at the front of the house. The handle is a Swisco black thumb latch( without a deadbolt) Most closely resembles the product code 40-057 style of thumb latch. The interior inside latch is the style product code: 40-117. I need a replacement inside door latch for a Cole Sewell door. The distance between the 2 screw holes is 1 3/4". The length is 2 1/2" and the width is 1". Black in color preferably. Would your 40-053 work or do you have a better recommendation?

This appears to be a perfect replacement for the very old, broken thumb latch handle on my storm door (the deadbolt upper latch works fine, but the lower latch no longer engages when you press the thumb control in the handle. I have a swing handle on a storm door and I need to replace the inside latch. It looks like the 40-145 would be the one but it does not lock. Would the 40-117 do the job as it does have a lock? Thanks for your help.

I am looking for new replacement sctreen door handles - see image of the existing handles. One is broken where the fem. threaded shaft attaches to the base.
