55-043 4" Sash Stop

Not sure about the number on the Balance,(needx4) it's a little worn away? Channel is 1/2" wide and 1/2" high as opposed to the regular 5/8" variety. I am maybe thinking that the springs are maybe a little on the high side owing to the cracked and bent top window shoes on two of the windows? I'm als ... (cont.)

These snap in safety stops come in 4 inch segments on our windows. I would like to purchase longer lengths, which I can cut to length to provide security-stops, allowing our windows to securely ventilate at night.

you show some of the dimensions for sash stop 55-043, but it looks like the open side is wider than the bottom is at 1".My channel is approximately 1-1/8" and I want to be sure this sash stop will stay put. thanks

Good morning, I believe these are older slocomb windows and the top sash stops on the outside got damaged when the pivot bars broke. What is your matching part number for this item? The channel width measured 0.557" (on the channel metal side) to 0.649" (on the channel open side that which has an stuck out edge).

My window sash stops vary in length depending on window size. I am in the process of replacing window block and tackle balance which I purchased from Swisco. Looks like I have 19-005 Balance Top with 15-029 balance shoe. Looking for non-tilt 1/2" channel balance assemblies. Also need sash stop and clip on side of windo.

These are from a SEMCO window in a bronze color. Obviously this one is broken but the insert piece is approximately a 1/4-3/8", with the short side being inset about 3/16" and the long side being about 5/8". These are dark bronze.
