Hi, on one of our 16 year old Alside windows, the metal spring broke on the left hand side of the frame. The window sash weighs 18.5 lbs, and the sash dimensions are 29.5" x 30.5". Hi, Are the coil balances pictured interchangeable? One is the "Coil Balance Shoe, Slate Blue" Item Number 15-175, the other one is the original one. If they are not interchangeable, please give me the Item Number for the original one (or its replacement). Thank you

I thought your 15-177 shoe looked like the closest match to my pivot lock shoe, but it's not thick enough. My shoe is 13/16" thick, but the 15-177 is only 9/16. How do I make up that quarter inch?
