When installing a set of new balancers, how many turns should be used as a initial starting point for setting the tension. In as much as over tightening can damage the spiral, having a good starting point seems valuable.

Hello, I have Patriot tilt-in windows, that indicate on the frame 92 which I take it means they were made in 1992. I need a "spiral balance tension tool". Can you tell me which exactly which tool to purchase that will help me open my windows more smoothly? Thank you

You sell two different types of charging tools. Are they both for spiral balances used with tilt windows? Can either one be used for Patriot Window spiral balances?

Between the 75-006 and the 75-033, are they both used for the same purpose. They both say for Tilt Windows. Is one better or easier to use than the other? Thanks

No Question, Just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for having the balance tubes and the charging tool! We have lived in our house for 8 years and the windows never stayed open unless propped open. I just replaced 12 balances and the windows work great!

I would like to replace my spiral sash. 5/8th and 17 inches QTY 2. Do I need the tensioner tool to install them or do the come ready? Thanks
