My Pella sliding patio door has the moveable door on the outside track. I am trying to determine if what I ordered, 80-027, will work or if 80-006 would be a better fit. Our patio doors slide from the outside and can easily be pulled up and out. I saw the response regarding the latches and the cross bar. What do you recommend so it can't be pulled up? Screws in the top? Thank you!

Purchased a SWISCO Security Safety Lock 80-027. The J-hook doesn't slide smoothly in place no matter what we do or how we adjust it. IS THERE A SECRET TO THIS? My husband and I feel like the two stooges.
