I need to replace a Mortise lock on our patio door. The Swisco Product Code 82-226, Mortise Lock 4-5/8" is what I need. My question is to match this lock assembly up with the correct sized interior and exterior handles.

What replacement part should I order? 82-243?

I have an MI Windows (Manufacturer Code MTL-2) Patio Door that is about 23 years old. It is Series 995 and Model SGD-R20-95x79. As you can see in the pictures, the inside handle has stress cracked. I have a mortise lock and striker for a PlyGem Glass Slider. When the lock goes into the striker the lock slips out of. Is it possible to replace the lock and that would take care of the problem?Please let me know and many thanks for your time. Al

Customer currently has this but wants ability to lock from outside. Would a 82-086 work ?? Trying to find a keyed unit for pics above. The through screws match the 82-086 Thank you.
