I have this part (#6) , however it it's too short in depth so that the latch does not reach it. I'm looking for a depth of 3/4". Previous owner removed the latch plate from one of my doors to install a pet door. I don't have a dog so I said he could take it when he moved out, but he didn't replace the strike plate when he removed it.

What type of keeper do I need for this type of sliding door lock? There was a pet door installed and it never had a keeper in the first place. Also how do I line up the proper keeper so it locks properly and securely?

This latch is installed in a Kolbe Door. The previous owner removed the keeper to install a pet door. Can you identify the correct keeper to use with this latch? Thanks, Jeff

I need the missing part

It the one the lock hooks into to lock the door. I will send a picture of the lock but the part that is broken half of it is missing. This is what the part looks like that supposed to go into the other part to lock.

This is for a patio door. As shown in the picture, it is broken. I ordered Part No. 82-229 upon recommendation of a clerk at Home Depot who thought it was the right part. My Patio door closes just fine and the alignment "seems" good, but it must not be because the latch bumps the keeper when I try to close the latch. Then it doesn't fully extend and latch.
