Our door does not have the locking part or hole. Not sure what is needed there. The latch on the works fine with the door handle, but has nothing to latch to.

Looking for replacement for a 32435 hook up align keeper

Sliding door keeper broke on one side. I flipped and figured it would still lock but isn't locking every time. Need new part. Which would work? Should I just get both and try both? Would I ever need to replace the actual hook part as well that latches in?

From the pics I took I believe the replacement I need is a mortise and tenon unit. measurements of it are: length of handle part is 9.5 in., length of unit in door jam is 4 & 1/8in., corresponding part in the lock part of the handle is 5 & 5/8in.I'm a widow and can repair lots of things but ... I am looking for the latch hardware that goes inside the door jam for a Pella sliding glass door to allow you to latch/lock the door from the inside.
