I have 1/2inch wide, 30 inch long springs for single hung, non-tilt windows. For some reason the springs have been breaking though the sash cap. I'd like help finding the right spring and sash caps, and some ideas about why that would happen in the first place. There is no stamping on the springs ... (cont.)

I need help choosing the right balances for 3 windows. The windows don't stay up. They are single hung windows with top sash. There is code number 2930 on all of them. Window #1 is length is 30 x 5/8 Window #2 is 28.3 x 5/8 Window #4 is 28.3 x 5/8

The string broke and you say replace the whole thing. The identifying code is 29-4 NN BSI The metal is 30 inches. Width of metal casing is 1/2 inch. I saw in another post to measure the plastic piece at the pulley end and it is a little over an inch as shown in picture 5. The house was built in 78 ... (cont.)

The only markings I can see is 2900.

Update after reading more on your website. Metal piece is 30 inches, though there is a stamp 29. Plastic piece extends past metal 3/4 inch.

I have Nuair windows. My home was built in 2005. The balance lengths measure 30" (metal to metal), 1/2" wide and are stamped with this number 29-2 KX CMC 7. Is this enough info for you to determine what replacements I need?

I believe my windows were made by Kinco. House built in 2003. Actual metal length of balance is 30".
