Hi, I am trying to identify this window Hardware. My house was built in 1980. This hardware is in all the windows. The windowas have no brand name on theem, They are double hung, 28" by 52". This is a Champion window. The balance is 27" long measured as in your video. The balance has a plastic tube around a spiral looking spring then the tube in the middle. You can see in the pictures the plastic tube is broken in picture #2 and I slid it down so you can see the spring and the blue tip. ... (cont.)

Hi there - I have 3 windows in a unit that won't stay up because the 27", 5/8 blue spiral balances have no strength left. A friend of mine happened to locate a new 27" spiral balance, but with a red end. It works fine, and the sash now now stays up when you put it there. So - for the other ... (cont.)

I need 6 pairs of these for a customer in Marlton, NJ. Also attached are photos of the spiral lift rod. It had a plastic cover on it originally, but it is falling apart.
