S600-28 28" Series 600 Spiral Tilt Window Balance

On my 28" spiral balance the tip looks more orange than red. The weight match's the red tip. Not sure what to do.

Please help me to find the spiral balance. The measuring length is 28" and it has a red tip. This balance was installed in 1980. Attached are some pictures of it. Thanks.

see the picture that the while shell is 28" x 9/16", with tip measured about 29", which replacement is the right one? I may need over 12 pieces.

I purchased 4 red tipped S600's as that is what my tilt window has...but I wonder if I should have purchased black tipped instead? The window sash weighs about 45lbs. The broken spiral balance spring pictures are attached. I want to learn how to replace them. The bottom connection part are broken too. The length is 28.5 Inch, the diameter is 3/8 and the color is blue at the end. What kind of parts I need to buy? Thank you,
