When I open my window, it springs up quickly to a certain point, usually 4-8 inches from where it was. Does it need a new balance, is the spring too powerful. The window may weigh 5-6lbs maybe. But the channel length is 24.

I am unable to determine the manufacture of my window, block and tackle channel is broken, not sure what to order for parts.The channel is 24" long and 1/2" wide raised center bevel. This a 36x24 double hung, single sash weighing 25lbs.Thank you Stephen

I need to buy window balances that are 15 inches long and 24 inches long they are identical to the pictures period I cannot figure out which one is the order . I need the part that is on the window it's self, that sets on the balancer, it is on the right side of the window. I don't know if there is a left or right side to these.

Series 751 seems to be the exact thing I need. Im unsure of the weight rating needed but they are stamped 23b.
