I need assistance selecting the correct replacement for a double-hung vinyl residential window balancer. The original balancer has no markings other than a #8 on the balancer housing, there are no markings on the coil. The measurements of the double coil balancer is 4 x 1-1/4".

I also have tilt windows that are broken are not working properly. The metal prong sticking out of the bottom of the window sash are nowt staying screwed in . I have a double window with broken balancers and tilt pins. The attached pictures are the broken balancer and picture and number on an identical window I have that is in good condition.

The one with the blue shoe is the old one I took out. The others with metal shoe is one I found and used but the blue one has a slot fits old pivot pin and new one does not . They are 40 lb windows and as can see stacked coils of 20 each side by a 6,6, 8 to equal 20 lbs for each side. I need new one ... (cont.)

I need to replace two coil balances for my Gorrell window sash. The metal coil is rated 6 pounds. Sash weighs 11.6 pounds. Which coil balance replaces the one pictured? It seems like S161-06 or 15-087 (or something else?). What's the difference between coil balance S161-06 and 15-087? The coil ho ... (cont.)

My window had a hard time staying up and a few weeks ago I heard a loud snap and now it won't stay up at all. It appears to have an upper coil as well a coil inside the housing unit. I'm not sure how it connects or how it operates exactly. I can't find any serial or model # ?anywhere on these wind ... (cont.)

The markings "7 A J" are on the coil and # 7 on the shoe balance.

Two coils one say 4 51t other say 5 36t unit is 1.25wx.5dx2.25long

Looking to replace a pair of coil balances in a double hung, tilting window but not sure which one. Old one is 4" long, 1 ¼" wide, and ½" deep. It's a double coil with a 6 on top and 5 on the bottom. If any more info is needed, let me know. Thank you!

Left and right balancers for window. Markings on spring was a 4 and one was a 5. We also need 4 tilt clips. There where no numbers on clips to hold window in the frame. Both broke within a day. How do we pay for parts?
