The window balances have a plastic rod through the center of a spring that hooks onto an end cap that screws into the window frame. Hi, It looks like I will have to custom order four of the plain channel for a tilt window S795 balances with the hook option in the 24A size for the kitchen and I will be buying 4 of the T-locks 15-194 as mine are 1" wide. Super seal installed in 2006 Many of the shoes are disintegrating the white part says 27B and another says 22C I think they are 1.25". can I replace just the shoe? if so which part?

Trying to replace channel balances in double hung windows. Existing spring balance is DSI 22C TO. The plastic piece that inserts into the base of the channel that holds the round metal piece (that secures the window brackets). Also the window brackets are spring loaded.
