S770-28 28" Series 770 Balance

Looks like I need some 28" Series 770 Balance assemblies but don't know which ones. Currently have in there now. Windows are Milestone series 1000. Sash is approx. 30" x 50" with insulated glass. I am trying to find a balance that looks like the 28" Series 770 Balance. The numbers that are stamp on the 28" reads: 28F BS/TN Ivanna

I have what I believe is a Series 770 which measures 28" long. The only stamp on it is UNIQUE 27-D-40. Should I choose option 28D when ordering? The window weighs 25 pounds. Also, is it necessary to replace the pivot lock shoes? They appear to be OK, and I couldn't find one that looks like mine ... (cont.)

I have need for a set of two Balances very similar to your S770-28". However the balances have 27E stamped on them. That does not match any specs on your S770's. I am looking for a replacement window balance. What I have looks close to your S770-28 except it is stamped "Unique 27-E-50" on the back of the channel. The channel is 28 inches X 9/16" width X 1/2" depth. Can you help cross reference this stamped identification with one of your products? Than ... (cont.)

My channel balance has 27TGX stamped on it but is 28" long. Not sure which option to order (28d, 28c or 28b)? It is from a double pane double hung window 42" wide by 60" tall (sliding part of window is 42" wide by 29" tall).

Yes, if it is a Series 770 with a channel length of 28" the stamp will normally start with 28. Please reply with detailed photos of the current balance, perhaps you have a different balance series.

My balance is marked 27E but is the same dimentions as your 28" series 770. Is this an old style and can I use the 770? Thanks

Other than length, what are the square dimensions of the S770-28. Thanks Al
