S770-28 28" Series 770 Balance

Milestone windows: As you can see, the balance is marked UB 27E but measure 28". The window weighs over 28lbs.(E-class),so I'm assuming that 28 E would work. I need 16 balances. These are the springs for a tilt out double pane window I have in Florida. the marking on the units ar dD27 they are a plain channel

I've determined all info for ordering but am unsure about the ash weight code. There are numbers and letters stamped on the back o fate channel part. They are ; 27S30 stamped lengthwise and letters B S.I. Crosswise. The channel measures 28". I'm assuming it's a "B" weight?

I have tilt windows, with this balance. DO you have something like this?

I ordered S770-28 but it is not the same as my old balance. I have attached the pictures from my old channel balancer( The old channel balancer has a 28F stamped on it, but the overall measurement from metal tip to metal tip is 29 inches and 30 inches with the hardware. The old balance is stamped unique 27-F-60 but measures 28 inches, 28 1/2 including the tip. The inside window measurement is 52X62. Please advise the correct part number. Thank you. Jim

Hi we have a 53"w x 62 3/4" h series 2000 single hung impact window. Window will not stay up, loose string on side. Shot balance probably. What size balance would you need for this window? I am returning the S775 balances that I purchased. The style and/or model that was ordered was incorrect. The model/part style that should have been ordered was 770/28". I do however have a question regarding what the difference is between a "28C,28D,etc. The ones currently installed read 2800BSI. ... (cont.)

Need to replace a broken Channel Balance. Your series 770 seems to be the proper replacement. Markings on the existing balance indicate Unique Balance 27E from 2004 as shown on the attached picture.
