Okay,so what i have is 4 series 770 balance rods, all with the stamp option on the existing rods being: 27-D-40, and the length of the metal only part of the rod (metal tip to metal tip) is 28". So, i don't know which ones i need to order as the length is 28" but stamp shows 27-d-40? please help me ... (cont.)

Hi I have some bad balances on 5 Bonneville DH window units. They are 30410 (sash opening) Can you supply me with (5) sets?

My metal channel is labeled 27B USB which is 9/16 wide(1/2)and 28 inches long. It appears that your Series 745 Peachtree Ariel 27" is the correct replacement. Is this correct before I order? Many Thanks, Jim

Hello, I am trying to find the correct part for a set of windows. I need (4) channel balances. They are stamped with 2800 BSI LC and are white in color. I uploaded a few pictures to try and help figure it out.

The stamp on my balance is 08-06-04 Unique Balance 27D but the measurement from top to bottom of metal channel piece is 28". So am I ordering 27D or do I really need 28D? My window is 8 lbs, but I ordered 770 28D (was thinking stronger might be better). Installation was easy, but then I cannot close the window. The window just bounce back when I push it down. I am trying to replace some broken channel window balances for my tilt out windows. They are 28 in long and by my measurements the channel balances measure 1/4 x 1/4 in width and depth. Our home built in 1998 has LP windows. They are all double-hung tilt in windows. The sticker says product line 101-N. We have three windows that will not stay open. They just slam down. I have 5 windows with channel balances marked 28D. All of them spring up when the locks are unlatched. Would buying 29D balances solve this problem?

Milestone windows: As you can see, the balance is marked UB 27E but measure 28". The window weighs over 28lbs.(E-class),so I'm assuming that 28 E would work. I need 16 balances.
