Attached pix show a window that will not stay up. Its partner window works fine. I would like to know if you can match the spring cartridges from the pix. Looking for replacement parts for a single hung Capitol window. About 21 years old and springs are breaking. Not sure of the weight or model.

Looking to replace three window balances in MI windows they measure 34 1/2" high and 33" wide the springs are broken on the balances and they have a number 740 stamped on them . Only identifier on the balancer is the letter H. Unknown window manufacturer. Uses T pivet bar. Weight of the window is 22 lbs.

my original springs are marked with "31D". Any idea what weight I need to purchase from the 180 series springs?

33.5x16" window. Single coil on each side. 1" opening where coil balance is. I cannot find any markings on the existing coil or any brand/description. The window will not stay open, as it appears that the coil snapped. Any help is appreciated!

I need both the left and right Coil spring and parts replacements. Number on spring is 732. Both springs broke. Additionally, the shoes are cracked.

I have several double hung vinyl windows that need repair. In all cases the spring band has broken and the windows will not stay up. All windows appear to use the same spring and shoe sets. Coil springs eventually snap after usage. There is no brand name on these windows. The only numbers I can find on a sticker are the ones in the photo.. do your best. I appreciate your help. Thank you

I have double hung vinyl windows. The window to the lower/inside has single coil balances and upper/outside has double coil balances. Window is 24"height x 29"wide, weighs 14lbs 1 1/4" thick double pane vinyl window. A great many of these have failed, do you have anything to replace them?

For one window, the number 640 is stamped into the coil near where it attaches to the pivot. The other window has the number 740. The coils are screwed to the pivots so I think I can just replace the coils and re-use everything else. I need both springs for each window

I need to replace the coil on both sides of a single hung window. Both coils are broken. Window sash weighs about 13 lbs and is 23.5 inches high. Probably just need coil replacements. I replaced the glass in this sash and now it won't stay open. I don't know what the difference is, but it now weighs 6 lbs. more. Original weighed 20 lbs.. This now weighs 26.4 lbs..
