24-1231 Andersen Sash Balance, 1226, 1227, 1231

I am looking to replace sash balances on two Andersen windows. Here is a picture of the sash balance for the 40" window. Can you recommend the correct replacement. I also need a replacement for a 24" window. Thank you.

The only numbers/letters I could find on the old parts are K3 12 31 1176 Bayport Minn. Anderson Corp. This window is 50+ years old. The glass height is 23 7/8 The glass width is 40 3/8.

My double hung windows are 38 years old and I have to replace the tensioner because the cords broke. There is no 3 didget number on the tensioner. There are only 2 sets of numbers: 11600-17 and T5 1231 1 88 What is the product number for a replacement? Thanks, Tom

Good morning, Can you tell me what balances I need to replace the original ones in my Andersen Narroline 200 series windows? The balances are stamped with T2 12#31 7 87. They are also stamped with 11600-17. The windows were installed around 1987. Thanks!

I watched the YouTube video which was very helpful. Except in my window the larger window is on the bottom and the smaller one is on the top so after I move both halves to the top to remove the side grooves only 2/3 of the groove panel are exposed for removal. What do I do to remove that side groove ... (cont.)
