39-348 Sill Mounted Awning Operator

Had this operator break. Can't seem to find an exact replacement for it. Arms are 9in in length. Looking for an exact replacement so I dont have to redo the sill trim.

I am trying to replace x2 'Truth' window operators - the long metal piece that attaches to the actual window measures 26.75" in length. On the underside of the metal base that the crank is attached to are the following markings: Truth 45206 Made in USA US PAT. 4505601 PAT. Canada 1986 There is als ... (cont.)

I am looking for a replacement for this unit. It a Truth opener with 45142 stamped on the back.

I have an awning-style casement window that needs a new operator assembly. The awning arms have a center base and two straight arms. When open, the arms make a V shape. The arms are stamped Truth 40011 and Truth 40012. When shut, the assembly is about 25" wide. Can you help me find my repl ... (cont.)

The Operator gear is stripped. The interior part that the handle hooks to is 5 inches wide. One unusual thing is that there is no easy way to get to the two philips head screws that hold the mechanism in place. Appears that you need to chisel the bottom of the window frame up to access. The screw mechanism "retaining ring" (?) has popped out. Unable to screw it back in as the threads that held it in are stripped. Being from the South even tried JB Weld Epoxy & that did not hold either. No one around here seems to know what to do & they recommend replacing the whole window. ... (cont.)

How long are the screws that are typically used to mount the operator? I ill have to get in there with a ratcheting 90 degree screwdriver, as the gap where the screws are is not very tall. is there a video specific to awning operators? the site will not let me add a photo of what I have. ...
