Hi- Unfortunately, I can't find the model anywhere on this sliding patio door, but still hoping you can help. Is there a way to add a rubber cover to the thumb latch or do I need to completely replace the handle/latch? Can you point me in the right direction?

Mortise lock with pocket, has part # 0895 on the body. Small spring is broken and lach doesn't return out to locking position. This part is from my doorwall. It is my doorwall lock. The lock and all are included and i cannot find the part anywhere and nothing else works because this is oval and fits in an oval hole. 4 1/2 inches top to bottom, 11/16 wide and actual lock part 1/2 inch . Looking for replacement lock for sliding door.

I bought the 82-244 and it is close. The 82-244 has a seat of 7/16 my old unit has a 5/8. Its so close but because it does not sit as deep the holes for the handle do not line up. Any Ideas. Eddie
