I need to replace a bunch of window channel balances in my house. I have a bunch going bad at this point I am attempting to figure out end pieces as they are all identical and then I can start taking every window apart so I can figure out which ones need to be ordered. I have a 27" channel balance (2 actually) that have hemmed edges, not straight edges. It looks very similar to your S380 and S385, although mine has a channel on the bottom of the top piece. The stamping on the channel is "26 4 AQ Caldwell" Channel is 27" long, 1/2" wide. I Have Milgard window with bad sashes. They are 27 inches long with the marking of 26 5 AU CMC 2. It looks to me they may be the 380 channel series but wanted to know what you think. You have been great help in the past. Thank you, Curt

Hello, I have a Milgard double hung vinyl window. The channel balance popped out after I opened the window (it's been a little tough to lift lately anyway). I'm not sure my current parts are Swisco. Does it matter? I hope you can help me identify the correct replacement parts. The metal part of the channel balance is 27 1/8 inch long, not including the plastic top or shoe. It is 1/2" wide. Printed markings say "26 4 CALDWELL HM"
