Need a lock for certaintee casement, someron II. The original lock has a 31401A stamped, the lock is approx 4x7/8", the extended arm is approx 3.375 to 3.5". my lock broke in the closed position. Is my only option to cut it off in order to replace it? Included is a picture of the broken one and another window that is still working in the open position. What part do I need to order once I get the broked lock off?

Hello. We just found a replacement lock on your web site. However, the window is locked and I need to open it to replace the lock. The handle has come off the lock. Do you any tips on how to unlock the window with the broken sash lock so I can replace the lock? Thank you.

Hi, looking for info and part to replace a latch lock. The handle to open is fine,but when I lifted the latch to unlock window,the latch came right out of the part. The window is a CertainTeed twin casement and the lock handle has Truth 31401 stamped on the arm. The pictures are from the good side (left), the right side is broken where the handle and arm are connected inside.

The 38-058R Locking Handle on the left hand side is new one and the rivet head is too thick to clear the support plate. The lock on the left hand side is the old one which clears the support plate. How do I fix this problem, this is an ongoing problem, can not lock our windows. Please respond to thi ... (cont.)
