I'm working on an older, probably Viking window. The balances are missing and customer asked me to fix it as he is going to sell the house. The window missing both balances is a small bathroom window. It is 24" x 17" high. Looking at the balances in adjacent larger obviously same manufacturer win ... (cont.)

Need help locating replacement balances for my Viking windows. I need replacement for three different window sizes. There are numbers stamped on the back of the aluminum rails: 1. 1410, this is for a 34 1/2" X 16 1/2" window, the aluminum rail is 15" in length. 2. 2630, this is for a 58 1/2" X 34 1/ ... (cont.)

It is metal portion is 15". The channel is 1/2". There are no markings or stamps on it.

Hello, I'm replacing two channel balances, one a 1440 and one a 2040. I believe I should order the S395 but would like to have this confirmed. Hello, I need to replace two "14 3 FQ Caldwell" Channel balance, photo attached. The length of the current balance is 15". The sash weights about 10.5 lb. I'd appreciate if you could recommend a match one from your product. Thank you. Jonathan

The window is a double-pane Viking with a vinyl frame, stamped inside the frame (between the two panes) with "LOW-E May 1995". The balancer is 16" long and there is what looks like a part number stamped on it: "1490 cg 20". It also has "BSI" stamped at right angles to the part number. Thank yo ... (cont.)

there's an imprint that says 1420 on the metal part. the balance is 16" long.

Looking for Viking window channel balance. The stamp is 1490 18.

Trying to replace a pair of balances - looking very similar to model 395, 15", but marked "1490" (then "Jk 16"?) which I can't find. Although it says 16, I measured at 15" (metal part only). Did not weigh the sash, but from memory, it feels close to 20 lbs.
