Photos are a bit blurry. Sending again. Just for clarity, all base shoes appear to be the same. All windows are single hung metal frame PGT. I'm thinking I need the S395. I'm confused about the length. The stamp on the old balance shows 17 but metal to metal these old balances are 18 inches long.

17 5 KW CMC 7 -- this is stamped on back of rod Top of channel is winged bottom is not Window repair man told me to order 17-5 balance rod with standard ends.

The metal portion of these balances is 18" long and 9/16" wide. They're from Viking windows.

The balance is stamped with "1720" and is 18" long.

number on part 1740. Need replacement part for both sides as window doesn't hold up

The Steel channel length is 18" the entire assembly with top guide and bottom shoe is 19". The channel width is 5/8" at the open side & 35/64" at the solid side as measured with a digital caliper.There are some hard to read letters on the back of the channel (photo attached) and look to read "17 ...
