I have 5/16 x5/8 screen channel are the same measurements used to determine the size for corners?

This house was built in 1988 and the windows are original. There are no mfg markings. The window do not stay open as the cords have come off. Broke when removing window

Hello I pulled these out of the windows that won't stay up. The plastic pieces are mostly i Intack I'm not sure why they won't hold the window up. I pulled another set off a different set of windows and they are 26 ? threes. Should I go with a higher weight on this to a 29?3? Looking for your expert ... (cont.)
