Hi. My current 1" thick door has flush mount handles. I assume the door will have holes where the handle indentations are. Is my only option to use this 82-261 model with the plates? These tabs are from storm and screen windows installed in the early 1960's. They are on the exterior of 28 double hung windows. Most of them have to be replaced at this time. I have a window operator, arm & crank handle, a right hand and a left hand that I need to replace. The spindle part is 4 inches wide at the top and the arm 13-1/2 inches if I measured correctly. We need a replacement handle for our 20 year old sliding glass door. The plastic piece attached to the metal rod that turns the locking mechanism broke. The mounting screws are 4 15/16 apart. Color is almond. We do not know the door manufacturer. Thanks for your help! Denise
