Hello , The striker plate is needed for a new installation, to fit this door lock. It did not come in the handle package. We need the striker plate for the lock to fit into so door can not be opened when door is locked.

Hello. My track rail has bent and is falling over under the weight of the glass door. The picture without a finger in it is an identical sliding door that has a better design with plastic surrounding the rail to prevent it from falling over/twisting. I am looking for a solution to this broken latch on a Patio Storm Door. The lock is no longer manufactured, I need a suitable replacement. My management company said to use a wood dowel as a solution. I would rather have a proper lock on it.
