Hello, We're in a home with these beautiful windows, that don't function property. Some hard to open or close, others come off track. Windows periodically shed this hardware -- not sure where it goes. We've been told windows are Jeld-Wen. Any thoughts -- thanks very much!

Pivot point that is attached to the window with two screws and engages into the window frame. One photo shows the engagement hole (square) within the frame and attaches to the support spring component.

Photo 1690 shows the overall mechanism, with the broken part running to the corner of the window. The part attaches to the operator on the right side and the underside of the window on the left. In the attached picture, the small, black, plastic piece that is screwed into the metal track and attaches to the hinge numbered 31272 has broken. Is it possible to replace just that black piece? Gears pop up and down slipping out of contatct with each other under the tension of use. Looks like they were forced open or closed as part of the mechanism is bent. Both right and left need replaced. Do you know the part #? 39-438B?on arm C-C40-31x55, 40986

Plastic piece which serves as both window lock and window mechanism is 4 1/16" long it is 1 5/16" width, hard to tell a height it varies one side to the other.
