The operator for our awning window is not working. We are able to open the window but when trying to close the window the crank comes out in our hand.

ok so i have an old house and all the window screens have knife latches or butterfly latches as some call them and when i undo the latch i still cant get the screen off of the window and i dont want to break it. am i supposed to just force it in or out and pop it out thanks

I am in a condo built 1979-1980 and the window latches are breaking - see attached photos. It is the white part that is breaking. Allen Stevens name is stamped on the inside of the latch. Do you have any parts? Thanks Bill
