This sash lock is from a KB Home and is about 16 years old. There are no identifying marks on the windows or the locks. The reach on the latch is a half an inch from the seat level to the bottom of the sash.

How do I know which topper I need? Also, if the existing track is really badly damaged, do i need to 'fill it in' or anything before putting the topper on so that there arent spaces between the topper and the rail? Thanks

I would like to replace the Pella door latch shown in the two pictures. The handles are badly tarnished after 12 years or so. I have two the same that need replacing. How do you get the torque bar out to be able to replace these bearings? The obvious screw holding the bearing to the side of the frame is through the 3/16 inch diameter hole.
