I have aluminum clad Marvin double hung windows that have a removable aluminum framed screen. The screen is held in place by a channel at the top of the window frame and with a pin on either side that fits into a hole in the window frame. Stamped 2863. 1/2" channel balance. Can't tell if it is an S351 or an S390. I'm pretty confident on the 19-002 top, but don't see much difference between the 15-001 & 15-002 bottom. Also, can I assume that going up to a 2865 is the right choice?

I've tried several Swisco orders trying to make my windows work again. In the attached photo, the one at the end is one of the Swisco Series 400s I tried. The original is fatter, but when I tried your series 500, it was too tight, and my handyman would have to carve out the channel to make it fit ... (cont.)

I am trying to match M&W replacement balances. The balance matches exactly to the 795 series except for the top clip. The attached pictures show the shape of the clip. It is 3/4" high with a 1/2" bend back towards the main balance. The clip is 1/4" wide to fit into a hole in the window jamb line ... (cont.)
