Using 55-006 after installation
Without being able to find any snap-in glazing locally, I've installed the replacement window glass using silicone. Should I scrape out the silicone and use the snap-in, or just cut the lip off the snap-in glazing and silicone it on (just for looks) ?

I've seen suitable models on your website that conform to the 1.75" spacing for the interior latch, but none of them specify the spacing for the lower screw attachment. Mine is 4.5" from the lower post (as shown in photo).

I have a Hurd Sliding Door made after 1993. I attached a photo of the mortise lock and the handle plate brace. The handle and lock on handle appear ok, but I believe the mortise lock is broke. Is 82-211 the best replacement? The lock is 3/4 inch thick. Thank you!

The spiral balances in most of my windows make loud banging noises when I raise the windows. They have come loose a well and I bought a tensioner to replace them. I'm wondering, however, if I should just replace them? Thanks!
