I need to purchase 3 sets of replacements. The windows are Milgard; home built 1989. Current balances measure 27" with 1/2" wide channel. I am not sure which replacement to go with. Please advise. Thank you Maria

This balance shoe matches those on our single hung Pella windows. My concern is getting the hook attached to the metal channel cover and then getting it all back into the channel. I purchased some 38-001 window latches. They nearly work but the gap created when the latch is closed is to tight to fit my windows. I new ones look like they are about 3/8 of an inch in gap. The old ones are have about a 1/2 inch gap. Any help?
