Can I replace the latches without taking the storm window off the house? I have vinyl replacement windows on the house, can't get the storm window through the newer window. On the storm window rail there are 2 dents on each corner.

I went through your identification process and looks like I need: 24" Series 390 Channel Balance S390-24 option: 2320 However when I measure the length of the balance it is exactly 23.5" I am not sure which to order. Geiger

Hello, I am not sure which length and strength I need to install to replace the spiral tilt window balances in my Thermal Gard windows. As you can see from the photos, the existing balances are of varying lengths, which suggests that someone already did some repair work. One is 21" long, one is 22 ... (cont.)

There are 2 rollers at the bottom of the door. Metal (now rusted) and metal wheels. The wheel itself is 1.25 inches diameter. If you need all of the other measurements please advise.

These stamped pivot bars are only 2-1/4" long. I can find no brand markings on the windows themselves. I'd be comfortable finding a longer alternative and cutting them down, but there's a bit of a taper at one end that goes into the shoe, and I don't see anything like that on your site. It's 3/16 ... Do you have a coil balance like the 5.5-lb 160 Series (S160-5). but with a longer length to handle a total distance of up to 60 inches (for windows with the coil support mounted at the very top)?
