This is a latch on a door that I guess is about 15-18 years old. It started to disintegrate a few days ago for no obvious reason. I didn't take it off yet, so no much more information on it. I have a door that has a PH Tech handle on it. The spring that latches the lock open or closed is missing. The handle says PH Tech and has a Canadian patent number of 919213. Will the extension # 39-157 work with a "Crestline" window crank? I am not sure where to measure the 11/32". The handle has a #15 above the #45054 on the inside of the casting. Thanks, Richard

The part that holds the crank against the cover also broke on mine. Now when I crank in, the crank comes completely off. I have two types of alenco block / tackle lifts - one is labeled 2730 and the other is 2740. Both are 28 inches long, 9/16" wide. I have replaced spiral balances and windows still seem hard to open and close. Is any lubricant or cleaning solution recommended? Is the next logical step to replace the "shoe" that rides in the track? what do you recommend. thanks, john

Hi: The attached photo shows a latch for a tilt window. I did not see anything on your website that matches it. Any thoughts on a workable replacement? No problem w/ drilling new holes if necessary. PS This window is probably 20 years old +/-. Thanks - great website BTW.

Thanks for the hardware looks like it will work but before ordering I would like to know how you take the lock out and then install. i am sure there is a way without to much trouble. Does it slid out the bottom/top? Thank you John
