Greetings. Attached are photos of the ends of my balance. It is 28.75" long (metal part only), so I presume this is a "29-inch" balance. It is also 9/16" wide (1/2 series, right?). Stamped on it is 2830 Q. The closest match I could find on your site was series 371 with the 19-031 and 15-005 end ... (cont.)

This is a picture of the plungers in all of my screens. Even if you take off the head, the body of the plunger is longer than the 1 1/8 you show on your screen plungers. I believe this is from a plygem replacement window. I had an item # from one of the other windows and google search of the # led me to believe plygem made the windows. Size is 1 1/4 wide, 1 5/16 tall, and 9/16 deep. uses a series 160 coil balance. Thanks Brian

these two balances came off a later model vinyl sash window. there are 2 single pane windows and one double hung window. the 26-5 has a heavier spring inside the channel than the 26-3. there are no other numbers stamped any where on the balance. i do know that most of the balances do have a 3 or ... The measurements of the exisiting lock are the same as Item #82-002K but as shown in the attached photos, the inside sliding knob to lock the door is at the bottom not in the middle.
