The piece in the photo disconnects from the base of the window when I crank it open. I am able to slide it back into place, which enables me to close the window; however it slips off every time I open it again.

I have a broken channel balance, the cord snapped, also the pin holding the spring broke. The housing is 34", the marking is 3330, which I believe means a 34" balance supporting 30 pounds weight. The other balance (which is not broken) is marked 3320. Does that mean it's a 20 pound balance? Or or ... (cont.)

There are no markings on the support piece or rail. The cabinets have a sticker on the that says ANSI and KCMA. The opening that the metal slide rail slides into is 15/16". The opening on the back that straddles the wood strip is also 15/16". I'm not sure how old the cabinets are, but the house is ... (cont.)

I can open my window but it will not close. Gears seem stripped, Feels like it "slips". Since I can use the crank to open window I do not want to remove. I take screen off and pull window to close.
