This cap is secured to the window and seems to be the strongpoint that the balance pushes against. Plastic mold.Measurements:-The last pic shows the top of the cap. I am looking for window springs to replace broken springs. I added two pictures. One shows the original double hung windows from around 1968. I have multiple springs that require replacement. The other photo shows the full double hung window.
