I have General Aluminum non-tilt windows with spiral balancers in my house which was built in 2001. The sash is not removable from the frame and there is no access to the bottom retainer for the spiral balance. How can I replace the spiral balance in these windows?

I have a series 190 coil balance, the only stamp I see says 64C or 640. Can you cross reference this number with one of your coil balance numbers?
