need to replace window balances in a double hung window

On the casement window itself there is a small 2 and 1/2 wide piece (2 screws) with a double notch that locks the window. That piece is broken. Can you help identify for me? The crank locking mechanism attaches to this piece and locks the casement window THANK YOU
