Part is stamped 2740 then in small letters BH then BSI. which is the correct 2740 replacement? There seems be be a few different

Door Lock

Need to replace this locks latch.. not sure if i have to replace the whole thing or can just replace the piece inside. which one do I need? please help

Switch doesn't move hook

When I move the switch down, the hook doesn't move. When I move the switch up, the hook pops out momentarily then back in. To lock the door, I have to pry the hook out with my finger, shut the door, and move the switch down. I don't know if the problem is with the handle switch or the hook mechanism ... (cont.)
