The ferrule acts as a bearing that the hole in the end of the arms attached to the bottom of the window rotate around. The ferrule is broken so the arm attachment point is loose and gets hung up on the broken ferrule and you can't get the window closed without a lot of manual manipulation. The scr ... (cont.)

These Solar Industries Inc. windows were purchased in April 1999 through Home Depot. The window mechanisms seem to work fine except that the hand crank part is breaking on all of them. Good Afternoon, I'm looking to replace several crank operator hinges. There are no markings on the vinyl windows. I do have one replacement hinge, but I am looking for more. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What type of roto operator is this? 39-092? My handle broke as the silver part detached on the inside. I would need to replace the mechanism and the handle.
