Overall Thickness
Hello: I am trying to buy replacement Pivot Shoes for my windows. I think the 15-048 matches my part pretty well. But the only dimension in question is the overall thickness. Mine measures about 7/8" but the 15-048 states that it is 1". Can you help identify then right replacement part? Thanks ... (cont.)

My windows need help
Please help me choose the hardware I need to rebuild "Thermal 1 " aluminum frame windows made by Amacor Industries, Delmont, PA. The windows measure approximately 40" wide by 65" high, overall. Please help replace my spiral balances
Each sash weighs 67 pounds. Balances are 5/8" I would also need another set of 8 for the upper sash, the tube length is 31.5" Also need some red connectors that the balances connect to. Not sure what info. you need to buy the correct ones. Thanks, Corey

We have large window sashes made with aluminum. The pivot shoe is a red cam series 85 pivot shoe. The sashes are large and heavy; one set with a 48.3 pound weight. I have Thermal-Gard tilt in windows manufactured 8-04-1993, Model T05, The Conserver Series. The Pivot Shoe will not move and window cannot be moved up or down. Help in removal of spiral balances
Have old Amcor windows throughout house. One sash had seal compromised so I removed it. While doing it one spiral balance (on right side - the white shoe) came out of pivot shoe. My NuPrime windows are hard to open. While trying to get the spiral metal piece out of one side of one window, I broke the plastic piece at the bottom that the retention screw fastens to. Can this be replaced? Are there instructions for replacing the part and for adjusting the springs? ... (cont.)

What tip spirals do I need?
Six windows all the same size. All my windows have red tip Balances. My bottom windows are 40"W x 22 1/2"H They weigh 30#. I need 5/8" x 22" Balances. Would the black tip be better for these windows. 15-048 pivot shoe new vs old question
One of the items I ordered was the 15-048 pivot shoe. I have not tried to install them yet (probably do it Saturday). I noticed the locking action is accomplished by the red piece pushing in a direction out from the side of the window into the channel. The original ones I am replacing locked by push ... (cont.)

What is this part called?
I have 25-year old Thermal Gard tilting windows. Between the pivot shoe (15-048) and the bottom end of the spiral balance, there is a white, rubber-like thing. With age it has become melted and gummy. What is it? Can I, or should I replace it?
