39-156 Caradco Window Crank, 9-1/2"

Good Morning: Attached please find photographs of a broken window crank. The only identify marks are the numbers on the window hinge and MW on the plastic crank cover. The end of the spiral crank has broken off and I cannot close the window with the crank.

I am replacing a 39-156 crank in my home. The 4 mounting screws are under bottom moulding and hard to extract. Can i pry this moulding off and replace it after i get the crank installed ? or should i use special scrwedriver ? thanks

Hi I have a number of windows that the crank to open the window no longer opens the window. Entryguard truth is stamped on the longer of the two arms. the longer arm is 9.5 inches and the shorter hinged am is 3 13/16 of an inch. Hi Swisco. I have several casement windows with failed crank mechanisms. Most of them are a brand I don't recognize, with a "K/K" logo near the handle. (See attached photo.) They are wood windows. The crank handle came out of the mechanism. The window is a side out (left to right). The crank cover lays up against the ledge. The cover looks like part 39-322, but it isn't brass. Hello, Trying to find correct replacement parts for Caradco casement windows. There are two different style operating mechanisms. This window has a CARADCO closer that is not working. When trying to close the window, the cranking action forces the threaded piece to "back out" of its housing.
