Hello I have an old window (installed when the house was built in 1955). It is a long horizontal awning window with top hinges. The crank hardware that was on it would just turn and turn but not push the wind open. We were able to push the window open and close manually. Attached is an image of the ... (cont.)

This gear doesn't work anymore. When I try to close the window, the whole gear backs out and doesn't operate the window. Can I replace it? Or should I replace the whole operator? 25 year old aluminum clad window

Is it possible to get this part?

This arm when fully closed is 16 inches

Not sure the make. It measure about 21 across the arms when closed. The handle opening is 5" x 7/8". It is white center mounted crank. They window is about 15" x 36"w ....opening about 8-9 normally.

I hope you can see that the part that locks the door in to its different positions broke. Plastic with a pin that goes in to slots. Is it possible to buy just that part?

Hi, I am looking to replace these parts.

I removed a broken awning window operator from my window. I cannot find a brand or part number on it anywhere. It has a brass plate on the bottom, two arms with shoes on the ends, and a track that the shoes slide on attached to the window. It is a crank style operator but I would like to buy a lever ... On the underside of the arm, it has the number 40008. On the underside of the crank mechanism, it has the word "truth", "made in the USA" and the number 45002. I'm replacing this whole mechanism. The part that the handle goes into is broken and we would need to replace. We think this could be 11 series awning as the 12" across is close to our measurements as well as the opening of 6". This window is approximately 27 years old

I cannot find a replacement for this Truth with 6" arms on Swisco site but am sure that you would carry or can order this item. Could you please help me to identify it? Thank you, George

The 21'' matches, BUT the 7'' does not...mine is 5''. Will this work anyway? Can i have any help to replace this?
