58-021 Gray Pile Weatherseal, 3/16" x 3/16"

House built in 1971. 6 sets of large sliding glass doors. In the process of renovating. Weather seals some loose some missing. Basically two kinds, one is pile stripes, the other rubber stripes. Many of the pile stripes need to be replaced. The measurements are: track gap 3/16" (approximately), ... (cont.)

Seeking your advice on the equivalent replacement for what's captured in photos. The pile is mashed down and the stripping is falling apart so did the best I could with photos.

Pile weather seal is 3/16" and 3/16". Is 58-021 Right product? Bubble seal is 6/16" and 6/16". 3/16" is the slide width. Is 58-182 right product? Regards Raj

These windows are 41 years old, and the original weather seal material is very worn/deteriorated. Size looks like 3/16" x 3/16" Also, it does not have a plastic backing, but appears to be a woven material, which is somewhat flexible. I am trying to figure out which wool pile is needed to replace the worn/missing wool pile in my windows. I believe they are Ideal windows but I am not sure. We have a TRACO TR-8100 sliding glass balcony door. Can you tell me the number of weather stripping (the felt pile) pieces I can replace and sizes ? I'm going to be removing door to replace rollers and figured it would be good time to put new weather stripping in too

I am looking for wool window stripping. The vinyl strip is 3/16". The wool appears to be 1/4". I need approximately 40' to replace stripping on five windows. Thank You for your tome.

Hi We are fixing our storms. Some of the grey pile is disintegrating.... we tested out a scrap of new grey pile with a plastic fin down the middle from a friend. its about 3/16" at base and 3/16" tall with the fin down the middle. I need enough of this for 3 screen doors. One side of the door has a wider gap than the other. The doors are made of wood and the past items stuck on very well, looked like originals from 2005.

The current width is shown and so the 3/16 should slide down In the picture I cannot push, or pull using a screw driver, the pile the length of the track. I get about 1/4 the way. This pile is 40 years old, so the pile has worn down some. I believe it may originally have been 3/16" height, 3/16" width. The height now measures closer to 2/16" due to wear. I'm fixing 12 Milgard vertical sliders, 11 are 30"L x 34"W (18.2 lbs.) and 1 is 30"L x 22"W. The smaller window has 2630V stamped on the channel balance. I did not see a number on the channel balance for the larger sliders but the style is the same. I will look tonight on the balances on another win ... (cont.)
