I have 70s-era sliding windows (aluminum) that have worn piling. I'll attach photos. The base of the pile appears to be 1/4 inch. Can't tell the height because the pile is so worn down.

Center fin pile vs. Thicker, dense pile weatherstrippin
Assuming you have found sliding glass door weatherstripping with a center fin pile in addition to a thicker, more dense type pile, both with the same dimensions, which style would be the most effective as a replacement for the dense original? wool pile insulation for 1972 Milgard sliding glass doors
Hello, yesterday I ordered some lengths of 58-045 to replace the worn out 40 yr. old wool pile insulation in several 43 year old sliding glass doors. Circa 1998 White Viking 72 x 96 Vinyl Sliding Patio Door Weatherstrip & Glazing
My patio door faces south and the backing on its pile weatherstrip disintegrated in the sun causing it to fall out of the vertical groove. Replacing window pile on metal frames
I have 35-yr-old single pane windows with metal (aluminum?) frames. I'd like to replace the pile which is missing entirely, disintegrating, filthy or just not sealing well. My daughter just bought a condo in an older high rise building. It has Mayfair sliding windows and patio doors. All of the weatherstripping is kaput. Sliding Windows Wool Pile Replcement
I need to replace wool pile strips in sliding windows. I checked the existing strips, and the ones on the top and bottom sliding sides have fins, and the ones on the right and left sides don't.
