Wool Pile for window
I purchased a large amount of wool pile last year from Swisco. I ordered the size that I was replacing. I was surprised when the wool pile that was sent had plastic ribs in the middle of the pile. The pile was no where near as thick as what I removed from the window. Do all of your wool piles have t ... (cont.)

Wool Pile without center fin?
I have installed your wool pile 58-022 size 9/32 x 9/32 in my double hung windows. While the windows open and close, they are tight. Tight to the point where they will stay in any position without the use of a window balance. I believe the 9/32 x 9/32 is too big and is the cause of the tightness. ... (cont.)

Does this wool pile have an aluminum backing?
No, the 58-045 wool pile does not have an aluminum backing. Due to the cost factor, I do not believe you will find anyone manufacturing wool pile with an aluminum backing. As long as the dimensions are the same this wool pile will work for you.
